Who is the AgilePM Practitioner Certification For?

The AgilePM Practitioner course builds upon the Foundation level knowledge, providing you with the essential knowledge and skills you need to apply the DSDM (Dynamic System Development Method) framework to real-world project scenarios successfully.

If you have completed the Foundation Course, then AgilePM Practitioner is for you.

The course is for people already working in or aspiring to work in project management. It teaches you how to apply the key features of the DSDM framework to run projects more effectively, including how to define and set the right goals, how to plan and organize work, how to monitor progress and how to deliver and support your project.

In short, if you want to become a more effective project manager in agile environments and develop your career prospects through internationally recognised qualifications, then AgilePM will do just that.

What does the AgilePM Practitioner Exam involve?

The AgilePM Practitioner exam is made up of objective testing questions based on real-world project scenarios and lasts 2.5 hours.

The exam is made-up of four questions, each worth 20 marks for a total of 80 marks. The pass mark for the exam is 40/80 (50%).

The exam is also open book, meaning that you can take your copy of the Agile Project Management Manual into the exam with you (but no other materials are allowed), preparing and indexing your manual is key to passing your exam, and this is something we help you with during your training.

Is the AgilePM Practitioner Certification Worth it?

Being certified as an AgilePM Practitioner doesn’t just test your knowledge – it verifies it in a way that is recognisable to colleagues, clients, and your wider network. How Long does the AgilePM Practitioner Course take?

The answer is… it depends.

If you want to do the course in one intense burst, we offer a 2-day classroom course which can be taken in person at our state-of-the-art teaching facility in Nantwich, Cheshire, or virtually from anywhere in the world, where you will be able to participate fully in the course with a live trainer and classroom delegates.

If you would like to spread the course over a longer amount of time, our self-paced online option would be the perfect fit for you. The materials will take between 15-20 hours to complete, and we offer 12 months’ access to our fantastic online learning platform as standard.
