ELCAS funding available for members of the Armed Forces
For those returning from a role in the Armed Forces, looking for a new career path can be daunting.
New business trends and ways of working can change rapidly and having the right credentials are key to getting that interview for a new job.
Training ByteSize provide a range of training courses and certifications geared towards professionals in Project Management.
So, if you’re a member or ex-member of the Armed Forces, in pursuit of a new skill set, you may be eligible for a grant to help with training and certification costs.
The MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service (ELCAS) endorse lifetime learning for members of the Armed Forces and provide financial support towards nationally recognised qualifications at Level three or above.
In order to be eligible, you will need to be registered with ELCAS for the scheme and must have completed at least six years of service (from April 2000 onwards) in the Armed Forces. This entitles applicants to up to £2,000 of funding towards training courses of their choice and is valid to claim until the annual deadline 31 March.
Training ByteSize offer a selection of tailored packages to suit your professional goals, including the best selling ‘Complete Project Management kit’ which includes APM Project Fundamentals, PRINCE2® and AgilePM training courses and exams.
A full list of training packages and individual courses can be found here. All offerings are made up of high-quality, engaging and fully accredited e-learning courses and online exams, meaning they can be accessed from any location and at any time over a 12 month period.
