The Effective Change Manager’s Handbook aims to help practitioners and organisations achieve success in delivering change and to develop change management maturity within their organisations.
The Effective Change Manager’s Handbook takes a practical approach to the subject as it covers all aspects of change management theory and practice. This includes benefits management, stakeholder strategy, facilitation, change readiness, managing resistance, project management, and education and learning support. The book has been written by a team of highly-experienced change practitioners, each with a special interest in the facet of change management on which she or he has written. Presenting the whole change process, from idea to implementation, The Effective Change Manager’s Handbook offers practical tools, techniques and models relevant to any change initiative.
The Effective Change Manager’s Handbook is based on the robust knowledge architecture of the Change Management Institute’s ‘change management body of knowledge’ The Effective Change Manager. This in turn was developed from the Institute’s research which led to the publication of its regularly-reviewed competence models (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014). These models are the bedrock of the Change Management Institute’s professional accreditation processes. The APMG International Change Management courses are accepted by the Change Management institute as fulfilling the knowledge requirements of their accreditation processes and from early 2015 these examinations will be fully revised to align with The Effective Change Manager’s Handbook, which will become the official examination guide for this qualification.
