At Training ByteSize, we hold out candidates to high standards to maintain the reputation of ChPP status holders as leaders in the project management profession. To ensure candidates are as prepared as possible, there are 4 required steps for the online course and 6 steps for the extended course.
Pre-qualification takes candidates through a personal assessment of their current project portfolio, skills and knowledge to determine their suitability for the APM Chartered Project Professional Certification. Click here to access the questionnaire.
Online Preparation is required of all candidates, where they will receive online guidance on what will be required of them, how to make the most of their experience and how to successfully create the portfolio for their application.
APM ChPP Workbooks are provided to guide you step-by-step through the application process, including providing tips, an example of an ideal project management portfolio, and advice on creating and maintaining their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) log.
The One-Day Public Workshop is for extended course candidates only, giving them exclusive insight into the ChPP certification assessment process and supervision by an APM Chartered Assessor in drafting their written assessment.
Interview Preparation Guidance is provided to all candidates through the use of a detailed video detailing how to prepare for their interview, anticipate questions, phrasing responses and more.
Optional Portfolio Reviews are also available to extended course candidates, giving them a chance to receive feedback on their proposed portfolio from a qualified APM Assessor.
Candidates can expect to complete the APM Chartered Project Professional Program within 3 to 6 months. While the online certification program can be completed within 3 months for more confident applicants, the extended program option allows candidates greater access to support and guidance to give them the best chance of attaining their ChPP certification.

The online APM Chartered Project Professional Certification with Training ByteSize allows candidates to work around their schedule and at their own pace. With two course types available, candidates can take the route they feel most comfortable with on their journey to attaining their ChPP status.
APM ChPP assessment fees are to be paid directly to the APM and are not included in the program price.
