Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Every day, at least 12 children and young people living in the UK receive the news they have cancer. This moment and the weeks and months that follow are frightening for the whole family. Treatment typically starts quickly and is often given many miles from home; everything a family knows and loves is turned upside down in seconds.

September is national Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we’re delighted to be supporting Children with Cancer UK

For the past 30 years they have been dedicated to improving survival rates and the quality of life in young cancer survivors, and to finding new ways to prevent cancer in the future. Their support has touched thousands of young lives over the past three decades and this month we hope to raise £1,000 to support those who need it most.

Victoria Graham, Managing Director at Training ByteSize explained: “Families are shook to the core when a cancer diagnosis is given and when a child receives the diagnosis it can be even more devastating. This month we are delighted to have set ourselves a target to raise £1,000 for Children with Cancer UK. The next 50 orders of £200 or more have the opportunity to ask us to donate £20 to Children with Cancer UK. We really hope that everyone asks us to donate so we can reach our target!

You can help us achieve our £1,000 target by adding a unique coupon code CHARITY at the checkout or quoting it when ordering over the phone

We also hope our fundraising will raise awareness of the impact cancer has on young people and their family, so throughout the month our staff and trainers will be proudly wearing the gold ribbon in support of all the families whose cancer journey is still going on.”

For anyone placing an order with Training ByteSize during September, simply add the coupon code CHARITY at the checkout, or quote on phone or email when placing an order with us.
