Yes. Candidates who have purchased PDF e-manuals for use via an electronic device are permitted to use these in the exam, if the device on which the manual is held is different from that the exam is being taken on.
Candidates can take one printed copy of permitted materials into open-book examinations and are permitted to have tabbed their manual for easier navigation and have made notes within the columns etc.
