What is the Essentials for PMO Administrators course?

The Essentials for PMO Administrators Course is designed for beginners to provide an introduction to Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (P3M), within the context of a Project Management Office. The growth of the project management profession means that PMO support roles are in demand and this three-day course will teach the fundamental knowledge required to be successful in a support role.

 

The Essentials for PMO Administrators course will:

  • Explain essential Project, Programme and Portfolio Management principles and terminology
  • Explore the four key roles in a Project Management Office – Administrator, Analyst, Manager and Director
  • Explain the responsibilities, knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be a successful PMO Administrator.
  • Cover topics including understanding the core and essential delivery support requirements in change control; financial management, information management, issue management, reporting (insights analysis) and risk management.
